Razer has just announced their new Razer Orochi V2 wireless mouse that the company claims can last over 900 hours with just a single AA battery. This new compact and ultra-lightweight wireless gaming mouse is equipped with ultra-low-latency Razer HyperSpeed Wireless technology and 2nd gen Razer Mechanical Mouse Switches.
Game anywhere with the Razer Orochi V2
Razer claims that Razer Orochi V2’s design is based on both their expert engineers as well as feedback from mouse enthusiasts which gives the mouse a symmetrical design, therefore, caters to many different grip styles.
The tapered ends on the Orochi V2 provide a solid grip for quick, controlled flicks, while a raised back arch ensures a secure palm fit for less fatigue in extended sessions. Topped with a thumb-groove contour for stronger thumb grip and optimized side buttons for ease of access, the Orochi V2 allows users to dial in their focus on both work and play.
The Razer Orochi V2 weighs at just 60g and features a hybrid battery slot that can house either a AA battery or a AAA battery. The Orochi V2 can last over 900 hours on Bluetooth or 425 hours when used with Razer HyperSpeed Wireless. The mouse also features a true 18,000 DPI 5G optical sensor with 99.4% resolution accuracy with On-The-Fly sensitivity adjustment.
The 2nd gen Razer Mechanical Mouse Switches utilised by the Orochi V2 features gold-plated contact points which Razer says are less prone to degrading and have a longer lifespan of up to 60 million clicks. Additionally, the Orochi V2 features 100% PTFE mouse feet and an ultra-responsive 5G advanced optical sensor.
